Anzac Sensory Poem

At war I see my comrades dying for their country and their family. My friends did not get to say bye to their family. My ears hurt from the gunshots and nukes I try to block my ears but I still hear it. I could smell the ashes going up my nose. I wanted to cough but after I cough I have to breath so I ran to get some air.  I nearly died. There were more people at that spot where I was breathing. The gun shots where louder and I tasted blood in my mouth. It tasted sweet but a little sour. The people who died looked like this
